India Cricket Team Beat Newzealand in T20 Paytm Series Decider Match By 6 Runs

Indian cricket team recorded an remarkable win against Newzealand here in Greenfield International stadium of Thiruvananthpuram, Kerala.  In reply of India’s 67/5 in 8 overs Newzealand made only 61 in 8 overs and India won by 6 runs in the end. In this win Jaspreet Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal bowled exceptionally well and denied Newzealand run chase once again on a damp, grippy surface in a rain shortened maiden international game at Thiruvananthpuram. From Indian Side Maneesh Pandey Was Top Scorer Who made 17 in just 11 balls hitting 1 four and 1 six. Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli contributed 14 and 13 respectively. From Newzealand Bowling Attack Tim Southee took 2 wickets for 13. From Newzealand batting C de Grandhomme made 17 in just 10 balls hitting 2 big sixes.

3rd T20 game of India versus Newzealand Paytm T20 Series Game also a decider game for series is being played on Thiruvananthpuram after 29 years on Nov 7, 2017.  Last game played here was in 1988. Due to heavy rain before match, overs in this t20 match have been restricted from 20 to 8. In this game Indian team has made two major changes i.e. Kuldeep Yadav has been bought in for Axar Patel and Maneesh Pandey in for Mohammad Siraj. For Newzealand Side, Tim Southee comes in place of Adam Milne. This game is being played on Thiruvananthpuram Greenfield International Stadium.

Indian batsman struggled to force the pace against square turn from Newzealand Spinner Mitchell Santner and canny pace changing spell from Tim Southee and Trent Boult. They set New Zealand 68 to win their first proper series, in any format, in India, and Chahal and Bumrah led the Indian bowling defence with combined figures of 4-0-17-2. New Zealand scored 44 in other four overs of their innings, but it wasn’t quite enough.

After a rain delay lasting two and half hours approx, Newzealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first in this decider game of the Paytm T20 Series. He said he has taken decision to bowl first because of the lack of certainty as how the surface would play. Virat Kohli, Indian captain, said he would have liked to bowl too, and expected some early moisture.

In this T-20 Match playing conditions have been revised as this is a 8 Over Per Side game. In Revised Playing Conditions, There will be power play of 2 over.  4 bowlers can bowl per side and each bowler can bowl maximum of 2 over.
